On Vishvamitra not ceasing from his austerities even on his being conferred the title of a Brahmarshi by Brahma, Vasishta, as urged by gods, recognises it and here ends the narration of Shatananda. Having worshipped Vishvamitra, King Janaka then returns to his place.
