The New York Mets did the little things right, and Mark Vientos had the huge hit in their SIXTH straight win.
David Peterson just continues to find a way, going six innings and allowing eight hits but only one run on his tally.
Offensively, it was one hit from the top three of the Mets lineup but Mark Vientos was able to turn the table on the Giants with a two-RBI double in the 6th and that was all the Mets needed.
Tomorrow, they will look to finish off a perfect start to the road trip and go for the sweep.
