Hayden Birdsong surrendered four runs (three earned) before exiting after just four innings of work. Carson Seymour didn't fare any better, as he gave up three home runs in three innings of work. This game was littered with mental mistakes by the San Francisco Giants, and the snowball effect of the losing skid feels like it is building day by day.
