The Elephant Demon The asura Mahishasura had a son who was named Gajasura because he had the strength of multiple elephants and could use his weapon, Gajastra, to shoot arrows that transformed into elephants on the battlefield. Gajasura could not be killed by any being that held desire in its heart.
