The Industry figures are eye-popping: 16.1% unemployment, film days in L.A. are down 33% from the 5-year average. Hollywood is in the middle of a stunning collapse, and L.A. needs a strong Hollywood to be at its best. To avoid Hollywood turning into the "Next Detroit," and losing out to the "New L.A."
