Show notes
Today, I’m joined by Dawn Harper Nelson! Pumped for this interview. She was such a blast to talk to!
Dawn is a retired track and field athlete. She won Gold at the 2008 Olympics in 100m Hurdles and she was a silver medalist at the 2012 Olympics as well as the 2017 World Championships. She is the first American 100m Hurdler to ever win gold at an Olympics and to medal at the following Olympics!
In this episode, we talk all about her trajectory on the track, when she found her love for running and hurdles, being coached by Bob Kersee, retirement and what that looks like. She is also a mom of two and we talk all about becoming a mom! She is also a motivational speaker.
I’m SO excited to see what Dawn accomplishes in this phase of her career, on the other side of the track – behind the microphone, speaking, calling races, she has so much ahead of her!
