Mohammed Ahmed joins the show today! He is having a speedy year, and recently ran Moh is from Somalia and moved to Canada at the age of 10. He went on to run at the University of Wisconsin where he recieved 11 NCAA All-American awards in track and cross country and also ran on his first Olympic team in 2012.He joined the Bowerman track club after college and competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics in both the 10,000m and the 5,000m, placing 4th in the 5,000m, just 1.5 seconds from a bronze medal.It is safe to say he is on fire in 2020 and he is one to be watching come the Olympics next year. In this episode we hear all about his running, how strong he and the Bowerman team are all running right now and we also get to hear about his love for literature and poetry.
