Today's guest is one of the most decorated Masters Swimmers in the World with over 400+ WR's to her name - Californian Laura Val.

Laura has received countless accolades for her superb swimming, among them inductee into both the International and Masters Halls of Fame. She is humble and matter of fact and as with many swimmers I speak too, loves the water, loves the training and loves the racing. 

We talked about the friendships she has made travelling around to different meets and what
that means to her; the type of training and sets and distances she completes and the delight she had participating in a Gary Hall Snr's Race Club Clinic just recently.

We also chatted about the day she broke 6 WR's in one race in the 1500m FRS!  She broke the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m on the way through, with feet on the wall.  What an achievement.
